Abstract

In June 2020 the combined 3 CPI cities in Papua recorded inflation of 0.35 percent or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 104.05 in May 2020 to 104.41 in June 2020.
The combined inflation of 3 CPI cities in Papua was 0.35 percent due to price increases as indicated by an increase in the index in the food, beverage and tobacco group; clothing and footwear group; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance groups; transportation group; recreational, sports and cultural groups; and food and beverage / restaurant supply groups.
The combined calendar year inflation of 3 CPI cities in Papua in June 2020 was 1.20 percent and year on year inflation (June 2020 against June 2019) was 1.03 percent.
