Abstract

Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services stipulates that every public service provider is obliged to evaluate the performance of public service providers. One form of this evaluation is realized through the implementation of the Public Satisfaction Survey (SKM) as regulated in PermenpanRB Number 14 of 2017. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS), as one of the public service providers that provides statistical data and information, always strives to provide excellent service to consumers. BPS has routinely held SKM every year which is integrated into the Data Needs Survey (SKD). This survey, in addition to aiming to obtain consumer satisfaction perceptions regarding BPS data services, also aims to identify data needs and consumer satisfaction perceptions regarding the quality of data produced by BPS. In 2024, SKD will be implemented in BPS work units consisting of Central BPS, Provincial BPS, and Regency/City BPS throughout Indonesia. The results of the implementation of SKD 2024 are presented in a publication entitled "Analysis of the Results of the 2024 BPS Data Needs Survey" as a form of report on the implementation of SKD. This publication provides a descriptive explanation of the performance of service units, anti-corruption behavior, data needs, and consumer satisfaction with the quality of BPS data. Data presentation is presented in the form of tables, graphs, and infographics. The Consumer Satisfaction Index (IKK) and the Anti-Corruption Perception Index (IPAK) are the main indicators presented in this publication. This publication was made possible thanks to good cooperation between related work units. We hope that this publication can be useful for improving the quality of data and performance of BPS services. We greatly appreciate constructive suggestions and input for future improvements. Thank you and happy reading.
