BPS Conducts the 2024 PODES in Kepulauan Ambai

BPS-Statistics Kepulauan Yapen Regency started the 2024 Village Potential Data Collection (PODES). The Head of the Social Statistics Team, Dwi Harti Pujiana, provided assistance in the data collecting of PODES in Imboriawa Village and Wamori Village, Kepulauan Ambai Subdistrict.

The Field Enumeration Officers (PCL) on duty, Linda S. Ronsumbre and Apsalom Wanggai, carried out data collection to village heads. This data collection was carried out under the supervision of the Supervisory Officer (PML), Laura Marisa Siagian.

In her assistance, Dwi revealed that PODES is regional data collection to describe the potential of a region as a basis for development planning by the Central Government and Regional Government, including evaluating village development in the form of a portrait of infrastructure development in the village.

Furthermore, Dwi said that this year's PODES is conducted in all regions in Indonesia simultaneously from May 2nd to 31st, 2024. Dwi hopes that the implementation of PODES can run smoothly, and that all related parties work together in the effort to monitor the quality of PODES data.
